What We Do
The Dominican Sisters are committed to Catholic education, retreat work, clinic and hospital work, outreach to the poor and homeless, and parish work. Our Sisters are called to a variety of ministries. Some are teachers; others are doctors, nurses, agriculturist, administrators, lawyer, and pastoral ministers.
As Sisters of the Third Order of St. Dominic, we try to live the Dominican motto to become authentic witnesses to the Truth (Veritas), as we Praise (Laudare), Bless (Benedicere) and Preach, (Praedicare). We continue to share the traditional ministry of the Word through our apostolic works of service and prayer.
